Welcome!
Summer 2010 is almost here! This summer we are Seeking the Son in our world. We will look in the kitchen, in fairy tales and legends, the holidays we celebrate, and other countries to find Jesus waiting for us!
Camp Back Creek this summer will engage your child in activities that stimulate all the senses to improve your child's understanding of the world God created and his presence in it. We will use fun activities, field trips, singing, and Bible lessons to find him calling us to him.
At Camp Back Creek, your child will participate in developmentally-appropriate activities throughout the day, as shown in this sample schedule:
7:30am-9:00am - Campers engage in structured games and free time upon arrival.
9:00am-9:30am – Good Morning! Circle time, and pledges.
9:30am–9:45am– Snack time!
9:45am-10:30am – Outside Free and Structured time
10:30am-11:00am – Bible Lesson & Devotions
11:00am-11:30am – Theme Activity (craft or game)
11:30am-11:45am – Move to Gym for Bathroom Break & Lunch Prep
11:45am-12:15pm -- Lunch
12:15pm-1:00pm – Free Time (in gym or outside)
1:00-2:00 – Special activity (Speaker, Game, etc.)
2:00pm- 3:00pm – Rest and relaxation (Reading, rest, and snack.)
3:00pm-4:00pm – Theme Activity
4:00pm-5:00pm – Outside playtime
5:00pm-6:00pm – Free time inside (Games and activities will be provided for those waiting.)
6:00pm – Campers depart
